Architect: Aliso Niguel Needs $34.5 Mil in Upgrades

Overall, Capistrano Unified officials expect it would cost $822 million to renovate all of its schools. Here's what's needed at Aliso Niguel.

Aliso Niguel High School needs $34.5 million in construction upgrades and modernization, according to the Capistrano Unified School District’s architect, WLC.

Of that amount, $13 million would be to cover the cost of replacing half of the portable classrooms with permanent structures and $3.6 million would go to postponed routine repair and maintenance projects, such as paint, floor covering, the phone system, paving and more.

The total figure also includes $2.3 million for upgraded technology for students.
