Letters to Santa, Holiday Parade and Free Thanksgiving Lunch

Here is a look ahead to events and happenings in Laguna Niguel-Dana Point for Nov. 18-24, 2013. 

  1. The Centers of Laguna Niguel are hosting a free business seminar on social media marketing 8 a.m. Tuesday at Regency Theaters, 25471 Rancho Niguel Road. The event will include a raffle with prizes like a one-hour DIY video phone consultation, Regency gift books worth $25, a $100 Bistro K Gift Card and a $150 DeNault's True Value Gift Card.
  2. Want to write a letter to Santa Claus? Starting Monday, a mailbox will be available for Santa letters in front of the Crown Valley Community Park registration office. The mailbox will be posted through Dec. 13. Click here for more info.
  3. Laguna Niguel's Military Support Committee meets Monday at 1:30 p.m. The group will discuss military involvement in the Dec. 14 holiday parade.
  4. Dana Point will host a free Thanksgiving lunch for seniors Saturday. Reservations are required. For more information call the Dana Point Senior Center at 949-496-4252. 
  5. A two-hour, docent-led walking history tour of Dana Point will begin Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Nature Interpretive Center, 34558 Scenic Drive. History Tours occur on the third Sunday of each month and have rotating themes.
