Sorry Robert Frost, but good picnic spreads make good neighbors

Funny how in this age of anonymous internet postings and road rage how uncivil people can get at times in this faceless world.  But it warmed my heart being at the Dana Point Concert this weekend to watch the Creedence Clearwater Revival cover band called Revival and the feeling of Peace and Unity and Brotherhood.  Maybe it's due to the magic of music and it's charms to sooth us savage beasts.  Or maybe it's due to the fact that a couple of thousand people are crammed into a small place and we need to get along.  Whatever it is, I feel compelled to issue a special shout out to some beautiful people who basked in the air of camaraderie this past Sunday at Heritage Park.  Andi & John Ulrich, Staci & Jeff Rubie, Deb McFarlane, Tami Colbert and Charles Croft who are all Dana Point or Laguna Niguel residents had an amazing spread of food and shared a plate with a guy sitting all by himself.  I would love to see us all become as giving and warm as these wonderful people.  Go out and love one another, people!  It's the small gestures that can sometimes mean so much.
