A fundraiser to pay Malcom Elementary's Resident Support teachers for the next school year is underway.
Parents can support the school with an $80 ticket to a "Night of Broadway" Feb. 8 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the El Niguel Country Club.
The Friends of Malcom are hosting the event. Principal Peggy Baerst promises food, wine and musical entertainment from professional Broadway singers.
There will also be a silent auction as well. Tickets are tax-deductible.
Volunteers will be selling tickets every Thursday and Friday at school, and checks can be dropped off inside the front office.
