Veterans Honored in Laguna Niguel Monday

On Monday, veterans from three wars told stories from their battles at Laguna Niguel City Hall, 30111 Crown Valley Parkway.

The Freedom Committee of Orange County helped the city remember those who served in the armed forces. Members of the committee witnessed first hand the dropping of the atomic bomb, the Battle of the Bulge and hand-to-hand combat against Axis forces.

The Freedom Committee makes up a living history of veterans from World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
