Scaffolding to Be Removed at City Hall

This last week of March brings about a lot of construction at the site of the new City Hall. From scaffolding to interior work, the job is moving along well, officials report.

Lots going at the construction site at the new Laguna Niguel City Hall, and  the building is emerging like a jewel in the desert.

The following is the anticipated construction activity for March 28 to April 1.

  • Begin removing scaffolding from around the building as exterior finishes are completed.
  • Begin priming and painting interior walls on the first-floor office areas.
  • Begin tile work in restrooms on first floor.
  • Continue installation of site parking area screen walls and trash and generator enclosures.
  • Continue interior drywall.

Look for the new City Hall to be completed by late August.
