This year's Christmas tree lighting takes place at Laguna Niguel City Hall, 30111 Crown Valley Pkwy., on Saturday, Dec. 3, starting at 4:30 p.m.
The free event is open to everyone in the community and beyond. Come mingle with friends, munch on cookies, enjoy entertainment, crafts and cookie decorating, facepainting, ride a Christmas train, jump in the bounce house or tackle the giant slide.
Also, be ready to listen and watch for the most treasured celebrity of the season, Santa Claus.
