City Hall Gets Solarized

The new City Hall is being fitted for solar panels this week, and other major work is being done at the entryway of the building.

Here is the construction activity anticipated for the week of June 6-10, according to Dan Fox, director of community development.

• Continue placement of pedestrian hardscape features and entry monument sign.
• Continue installation of carpet flooring in office areas.
• Begin tile flooring in entry lobby.
• Continue installation of photovoltaic panels on roof.
• Continue interior cabinets and finish work.
• Continue installation of irrigation and trees on interior slopes.

The new City Hall is scheduled to be completed by late summer.
