Caller Reports Ex-Girlfriend Pinching Child's Cheeks, Bruises

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Dec. 27-28 in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

A woman reported her children saw her ex-husband’s 24-year-old girlfriend pinch her 3-year-old daughter on the cheeks at a different residence, and the caller noticed bruises on her daughter’s face when she picked her up from preschool. The incident occured on Dec. 27, at 3:49 p.m. at the 26800 block of Calle Juanita.

Disturbance 5:08 p.m. 24400 block of Madeira Way. A caller reported an 8-year-old boy came to her house, claiming he was chased by older kids that wanted to beat him up.

Vandalism Report 7:04 p.m. 28200 block of Rancho Cristiano. A caller reported someone might have shot out the streetlight. The caller was concerned about the safety hazard posed by the broken glass to people who walk their dogs.

Citizen Assist 8:12 p.m. 34600 block of Calle Loma. A caller reported an ex-employee was texting him that he had “familia in Mexico” and was worried that these were death threats. (Dana Point)

Disturbance. 8:40 a.m. 24900 block of Hidden Hills. A caller reported a woman wearing a hooded trench coat and pajama bottoms was digging through trash bins at the Windridge apartments.
