Possible Drunk Man Rolling Around In Grass

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Jan. 4–5 in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel

A caller reported a man who appeared drunk, was rolling around in the grass and refusing to leave. He had brown hair and was heavyset. The incident occurred on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 2:37 a.m. at the crossroads of Crown Valley Parkway and the Street of the Golden Lantern.

Saturday, Jan. 5:

Grand Theft Report 4:03 p.m. 24500 block of Dana Point Harbor Drive. A caller reporteda newer looking 2004 blue Cobra Tandem kayak was stolen from the dry dock. Its estimated cost, $2,000. It was previously chained and locked to the dock. (Dana Point)

Assist Outside Agency 8:21 a.m. 33200 block of Marina Vista Drive. An officer was sent to investigate a report of glass on the front porch and a smashed out door at the location. (Dana Point)

Friday, Jan. 4:

Citizen Assist 6:52 p.m. La Paz Road/Pacific Park Drive. A caller reported someone was waiting near her home in San Clemente to shoot her. She wouldn’t provide any other details.

Suspicious Person 2:19 p.m. 29300 block of Thackery Drive. A caller reported she received an email from her ex-boyfriend stating he broke into her residence through the backdoor of the garage, to get his tools. The caller said she evicted him.
