Man Exposes Self at Pool; Person Chases Birds With Model Planes

And other crime reports from Laguna Niguel and Dana Point.

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 2-3. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Tuesday, July 2:
Disturbance. Midnight. Street of the Golden Lantern/Marina Hills Drive. A caller reported he could hear several people partying on the hillside behind the Crystal Cay condos. He was concerned because of gang activity in the area.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 3:47 p.m. Camino Del Avion/Street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported a man was trying to sell prescription drugs by holding up a sign. He was in his 30s with a long beard and wearing a white shirt and gray pants. He was standing across from the Ralphs and Trader Joe's.

Wednesday, July 3:
Disturbance. 8:36 a.m. 26300 block of Via California. A caller reported his neighbor was being verbal with him because he wet his truck when he was hosing off his deck. (Dana Point)

Brandishing a Weapon. 10:11 a.m. 31600 block of Nine Drive. A caller reported her neighbor was pointing a rifle at her gardeners. Upon investigation, the rifle turned out to be a pellet gun.

Keep the Peace. 10:12 a.m. 33800 block of Malaga Drive. A caller reported her neighbors always shout at her whenever she goes out onto her patio. (Dana Point)

Disturbance. 6:50 p.m. Alicia Parkway/Aliso Creek Road. A caller reported people flying model planes over the Aliso Woods Wilderness Park, and he was upset that one was chasing birds with it. The caller attempted to photograph the incident.

Indecent Exposure. 7:41 p.m. 24400 block of Via Pansa. A caller reported a man exposed himself when he showered at the Laguna Gardens community pool area. The man was elderly, balding and wearing black swim trunks.
