Man with Ax Makes Scene on Car Hood

A rundown of calls to the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Nov. 25-26 in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported a man wearing a dark shirt with white sleeves was standing on the hood of a black pickup truck, making loud noises with an ax. The man had several backpack-type bags arranged next to his truck. The incident occurred Sunday, Nov. 25 at 3:28 a.m., at the 34100 block of Selva Road in Dana Point.

Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Monday, Nov. 26:

Disturbance-Family Dispute 10:03 a.m. 0 block of Terrace Circle. A caller reported a man and woman were in an altercation, and the woman locked the man out on the balcony. A shotgun was secured by the police from the residence, which was not used in the argument.

Citizen Assist 5:48 a.m. 26000 block of Victoria Boulevard. A man who was out of town needed police to knock on his door and wake up his wife, because she asked him to call and wake her. However, the downstairs neighbor who lives in the garage, tapped into his phone line and he kept answering. The caller also wished to file a police report for his neighbor stealing his phone and cable. (Dana Point)

Sunday, Nov. 25:

Suspicious Person 7:30 p.m. 30000 block of the Street of the Golden Lantern. A caller at the Laguna Serrano Apartments reported every phone line of hers had been hacked, and she stated: “Send the cops. It’s an emergency.”

Vandalism In Progress 2:17 p.m. 27200 block of Heather Ridge Road. A caller reported outside of Costco, a man and woman keyed his care over a parking space. The man could not be found, but he called police stating he did not key the vehicle, or run away from the situation.
