Man Allegedly Steals Pizza From Delivery Van

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from Jan. 6–7 in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported second-hand information from a resident at the Hidden Hills apartment complex, who witnessed a man taking a pizza out of a pizza delivery truck, and then go to the pool area to eat it with others. The incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 7 at 6:22 p.m. at the 30000 block of Tessier.

Monday, Jan. 7:

Citizen Assist 5:28 p.m. 28100 block of Moulton Parkway. A caller reported her 13-year-old daughter went to a party with a friend, and when the friend’s mother found out about it, she went to their school and pushed the caller’s daughter. The incident occurred the week before the reported date.

Suspicious Person 3:37 p.m. Pacific Island Drive/Alicia Parkway. A caller reported a black cube suitcase was abandoned near KFC and Pick Up Stix between two parking spaces, next to a red Prius.

Sunday, Jan. 6:

Kidnapping 6:33 p.m. 25200 block of Sacul Plaza. A caller reported her ex-boyfriend kidnapped her 5-year-old son and stated he was not the child’s father. The child was eventually returned unharmed.

Disturbance 12:07 a.m. 33800 block of Malaga Drive. A caller reported he was attacked by his fiance’s brother. The subject went outside and continued yelling at the caller, and tried to get back into the residence. (Dana Point)
