Bicyclist Injured on Golden Lantern Sunday Afternoon

The cyclist was taken away by ambulance around 12:30 p.m. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A bicyclist suffered head and facial injuries after falling off the bike onto Golden Lantern near Adelanto early Sunday afternoon, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The cyclist crashed around 12:30 and no other vehicles were involved, a sheriff’s watch commander said. It was not clear what caused the accident.

Medics and firefighters responded to the crash and loaded the cyclist into an ambulance. The name of the cyclist and the extent of the injuries were not released.
