Crime: Husband Allegedly Flees Home With Wife’s Jewelry

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 4 in Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported that her husband took all her jewelry and her 18-month old son and left their apartment while she was at work. The two had gotten in an argument on the phone. The subject drove a gray BMW. The incident occurred at 12:33 p.m. at the 28100 block of Moulton Parkway, at the Palms apartment complex.

Here are more items from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted:

Tuesday, June 4: 911 Hangup, 4:22 p.m. 24800 block of Hamlet Way. An 8-year-old called 911 to find out when his dad was going to be at the hospital. He told the dispatcher that he couldn’t put an adult on the phone, but they tried to get his 13-year-old brother on the phone. A welfare check was required.

Petty Theft Report, 2:24 p.m. Unknown block of Pacifico. A caller reported that her phone was taken from Creekside Park, and she believed it was at a location in Dana Point. The parties eventually met up and it was returned to its owner.

Disturbance, 11:31 a.m. Unknown block of Cameray Heights. A caller reported that she could hear a male and female fighting at the location. Call history showed a report back in 2012 of a female screaming at the residence.
