Olympus Has Fallen - Not quickly enough!

Ya got to love it when Hollywood tells it like it is. First the title, " Olympus has fallen" and then the story of a weak country led by a weak president only to be saved from total ruin by a Bruce Willis type character.

The Movie has more guns and shooting scenes then dialog. But, and this is important, the shooting is only between real bad guys and a real good guy.

Our defense for our capital takes 15 minutes to surface, or so says then lead bad guy. His men took over in 13 minutes. The plane that looked like a lumbering C27 has magic guns that shoot down the only two fighters scrambled when it invades the air space around the white house. If only we had used drones!

Here's the funniest yet saddest part of the message Hollywood was sending about our nation's leaders. The president is asked for the codes that control the nukes. He declines. The bad guys then torture one of the other captives and our Pres. says to the tortured guy go ahead give him the code. It takes three codes to control the nukes. Then the bad guy gets one of the gals and starts to torture her. Then Pres says, go ahead and give him the codes 'cause I have the last set and I'll never give it to him. No? He just had two underlings give up the codes because they were being tortured and our pres couldn't stand it. Hey, they might have started to tickle him and then what would have happened?

The movie was not supposed to be a comedy but after a while we couldn't stop laughing.

Oh and rest assured that the only strong man not being held captive and not shooting at every bad guy was our Secretary of State, a black man. Coincidence, most assuredly!

Way to go Hollywood!
