Steve Jobs, Mars in Aries: The Innovator

All birth charts have great potential and show our abilities, talents and limitations. Steve Jobs' chart was no exception. The first thing that stands out is Mars at 29 degrees of Aries. Aries is the sign of a pioneer, someone who wants to be first, ahead of the pack. And 29 degrees, the last degree of a sign, intensifies that desire. Mars sat opposing Neptune, the planet of dreams and visions, this brought him his creative drive. Jupiter the planet of education and expansion sits conjunct Uranus the planet that rules computers and these two planets squared the Mars and the Neptune. So together we have computers, expansion with a fire to innovate and an ability to have a vision. What a great combination.

It wasn't all good though. Pluto, the planet of control, trines the Mars and sextiles the Neptune. So his exacting nature and unrelenting desire for perfection must have made him challenging to work with. Saturn, the planet of restriction, trines the Uranus and Jupiter, showing us he wanted to go much further than current technology would allow.

For us now we are experiencing Neptune, the planet of visions, in Aquarius for a little while longer and Aquarius rules the future of techology. This along with computer ruling Uranus in the sign of Aries, which has the passion and ambition to move forward. Steve Jobs gave us incredible technology but we are going to build on it from here. And there will be some amazing innovations coming from what he began.
