Happy Hour at Starbucks Begins Friday

Feeling like a cool Frappucino? Visit participating coffeehouses in Laguna Niguel May 4-13 from 3-5 p.m. and get half-off.

Today, Friday, May 4 kicks of Happy Hour for frosty Frappucino blended beverages at local participating Starbucks stores.

Luckily we have more than our fair share here in Laguna Niguel:

Enjoy a cold Frappucino in any flavor from 3-5 p.m. daily through May 14.

Recently launched are two new flavors – Mocha Cookie Crumble and Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème. The new offerings will be available in U.S. and Canada company-operated and licensed Starbucks stores for a limited time this summer. Also returning are customer favorites – the Mocha Coconut Frappuccino and the Coconut Crème Frappuccino blended beverages.

"This is the time to come and try our new flavors. The chocolatey cookie crumble is simply amazing," said Anne LeMay, Starbucks manager at the Alicia Parkway store. "It's sure to become a popular favorite at my store…topped with yummy chocolate whipped crew and cookie crumbles. Customize it by adding caramel sauce! OMG over the top sweetness. Come in and get your groove on while we play our special happy hour (we call it frappy hour) music…send in your pics and maybe win a prize."

Starbucks' website says: Starting today, each day of the challenge has a theme to inspire Frappuccino fans to post their top beverage-inspired photos. The top 10 pictures of the day will make it into the daily photo album at facebook.com/Frappuccino.

Customers can connect with Starbucks and build their personalized Frappuccino blended beverage on Frappuccino.com and stay up to date with Facebook.com/Frappuccino and Twitter.com/Frappuccino

This year, customers can count down to Happy Hour through Instagram and Twitter by tagging their Happy Hour photos with #FrappuccinoHappyHour to win prizes.

I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.

With the ad block on the right and the boards info in the middle, it feels like the news part isRead More scrunched too far to the left.
