I've Been Diagnosed with Breast Cancer: Now What?

if you have recently been diagnosed or know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, a seminar in Laguna Niguel might be of interest on Oct. 11.

October is national breast cancer awareness month and an important time for all women to take note.

Whether you are a survivor, been recently diagnosed or know someone who has been diagnosed, you might want to attend a seminar on Thursday, Oct. 11, in Laguna Niguel called: I Have Been Diagnosed: Now What?

The seminar, a Komen Orange County Affiliate Education Series 2012, will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at El Niguel Country Club, Main Club House Reception Hall, 23700 Clubhouse Ave., Laguna Niguel.

It is being presented by a panel of experts led by Dr. Richard Reitherman, MD.

The theme: Becoming Part of Your Medical Team. The panelist will demystify the components of a pathology report and help you understand what you should know after a breast cancer diagnosis and before treatment.
