WATCH: Santa Arrives on the Metrolink in Laguna Niguel

The man in the red suit was greeted by hundreds of happy faces at Metrolink's 15th annual Holiday Toy Express on Sunday evening.

More than 600 excited folks from young to old came out to see Santa and his helpers arrive at the Laguna Niguel Metrolink Station at 28200 Forbes Rd., on Sunday evening for Metrolink's 15th annual Holiday Toy Express.

Running through Dec. 18, the 450-ton train will be stopping throughout various stations in Southern California to greet visitors. There will be 32 stops over five weekends.

Check here for Metrolink's future stops, but sorry, it won't be headed to Laguna Niguel again this season at least with Santa on board.

The train was decorated with more than 50,000 lights and included a flat car used as a stage for the musical show featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Visitors brought many unwrapped toys that will be donated to Southland Firefighters' "Spark of Love Toy Drive."
