Suspect Breaks Bonsai Branches With ‘Malicious’ Intent

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department from July 21- 22.

A woman reported that someone was maliciously breaking branches off her Bonsai tree on Saturday, July 21 at 11:14 p.m. at the 30100 block of Chapala Court.

Sunday, July 22:

Citizen Assist 9:58 p.m. 33800 block of the Street of the Copper Lantern. A woman was upset that her neighbor was lying to police about all the noise he makes. (Dana Point)

Assist Outside Agency 9:42 a.m. Crown Valley Parkway/Alicia Parkway. A man reported that another dog outside of Starbucks was attacking his dog. O.C. Animal Control was called.

Saturday, July 21:

Vandalism Report 12:15 p.m. 34400 block of Pacific Coast Highway. A male guest at the Doubletree reported to the front desk that someone vandalized his car’s windshield wipers. (Dana Point)

Suspicious Person 11:26 p.m. 24300 block of Rue de Gauguin. A woman reported that she heard a ratcheting of a gun in her backyard, and confronted a man, who stated he was shooting rabbits. He took off toward Crown Valley.

Keep the Peace 11:00 a.m. 29500 block of Pelican Way. A man reported that his iPhone and laptop were stolen from the pool area, and he tracked them to his neighbor’s house.
