Orange County Woman Turns 107 Surrounded By Family and Friends

Juliet Levin's long life began on March 24, 1906.

Juliet Levin lives in the Capistrano Beach Care Center and is participating in a Boston University program that studies seniors that have lived particularly long lives.

Levin is a perfect subject for the program. She turned 107 on Sunday.

Her active lifestyle has slowed down and her eyesight and hearing are failing, but she hasn’t had any major illnesses recently, according to the Orange County Register.

Family and friends gathered in Levin’s room to celebrate her birthday with cake and old photos. Her brother also lived past 100, almost reaching 101, and her mother also lived to see her 100th birthday, the paper reported.
