There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Tuesday's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will grow to $55 million.
Five tickets -- one each sold in Georgia, Nebraska, South Carolina,
South Dakota and Vermont -- had five numbers, but didn't have the Mega number
The numbers drawn tonight were 3, 20, 21, 38, 42 and the Mega number was
19. The estimated jackpot was $47 million.
The drawing was the seventh since the last time a ticket with all six
numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in
175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of
winning a prize is 1 in 40.
The Mega Millions game is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia
and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
