Kite Hill: A Laguna Niguel Gem Where Even Big Boys Play

Kite Hill is one of Laguna Niguel's relatively unexplored places where on any given day you can see model planes flying in the blue skies over the city.

In an effort to expose readers to more of the off-the-beaten-path areas of Laguna Niguel, we will bring you new video segments over the next few weeks highlighting some of the city's under-explored gems. This week we focus on Kite Hill.

Although most Laguna Niguel residents recognize the hill, many haven't taken the time to make the turn off Alicia Parkway and Aliso Creek Road to climb the winding one-lane road to the top. Hopefully, seeing some of the gorgeous views will inspire you to dig out that old model airplane that you've been storing for years and give it a whirl.  Electronic airplanes and kites work, too.
