Dana Point Harbor Revitalization Project Takes a Step

According to Voice of OC, the controversial plan to revitalize the Dana Point harbor made a bit of headway Tuesday as board of supervisors voted to certify impact report.

It's been a decades-long process to revitalize Dana Point harbor, but it may seem so light.

According to Voice of OC,  "OC Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to certify an updated final environmental impact report for the project.

The plan calls for renovating the harbor’s docks, buildings, parking and amenities, with construction expected to take eight to 12 years. Building likely wouldn’t begin for at least several months, officials said; the project needs a coastal development permit from the state and more funding," the report stated.
