Can you grow a ‘stache like nobody’s handlebar?
Then you’re just the type of man the Fiesta Association in San Juan Capistrano is looking for.
As part of Fiesta Grande – just one of the several events the association puts on to celebrate the return of the swallows in San Juan Capistrano – men will compete in a “hairiest man” contest on March 20.
To participate, show up to the Swallow’s Inn, the site of Fiesta Grande, between 2-5 p.m. today clean shaven. Note: A representative at the bar said "you do not have to live in San Juan Capistrano to participate."
You’ll then have eight weeks to grow your beard or mustache.
The cost is $5 to enter, which goes to support the Swallows Day Parade, according to the Fiesta Association.
