Children Stung by Aggressive Bee Swarm at Local Park

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff's Department on March 25 in Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported 200-300 bees swarming around a hive on the side of the large slide at Lantern Bay Park in Dana Point. His children were stung several times. Public Works was notified to contact the park’s manager to find out what to do. The incident occurred at 7:22 p.m. at the cross streets of Dana Point Harbor Drive and the Street of the Golden Lantern.

Citizen Assist 1:00 p.m. 29300 block of Crown Ridge. A caller reported that someone hacked into her cell phone account.

Disturbance 8:40 p.m. 33400 block of Del Obispo Street. A caller reported that two juvenile customers were denied service at Cocomo’s Pizza and got upset. The subjects were last seen sitting in a white two-door car parked in the back of the parking lot. (Dana Point)

Patrol Check 12:15 a.m. 33800 block of Del Obispo Street. A caller reported that a lot of wires were coming out of the residence. He was concerned that the residents could be hoarders creating a fire hazard. (Dana Point)
