Pajama day has been around for years. It's really just an excuse to dress extremely casual...or is it? I would say, in past instances it really was just a gimic. But students at Moulton Elementary School chose to do so with a giving heart. You see, this year's pajama day theme was "wear a pair, give a pair". Students were encouraged to donate a pair of new pajamas that would be given to needy children. Student Council put this event on. I happened to take my daughter to school that day and was warmed by the number or participants (including teachers and parent volunteers) and donations that came in. Pajamas were put into ziploc bags with their size written on the outside. These bags were put into large bags with specific sizes on them.
