Uncle Fears Burned Body is Missing Laguna Niguel Teen's
In the search for a missing Laguna Niguel teen, one family member fears the worst.
The uncle of a Laguna Niguel teen fears the burning body found near Castaic Lake may be that of 19-year-old Bryce Laspisa.
"That’s more than likely him, which I don’t want to really face right now," said Frank David, who made the statement near his hometown outside Chicago.
Investigators announced the body found smoldering amid a small brush fire is male, though it was so badly burned that determination could not be made initially.
The burned body is being investigated as an act of murder, Lt. Dave Dolson of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department told CBS News.
Laspisa has been missing since 2 a.m. Friday, according to a search page posted by his parents on Facebook. His Toyota Highlander was found overturned near Castaic Lake at its Main Boat Launch access road early that morning.
