Dana Point Harbor Boat Parade: How Do You Watch?

The 39th annual Boat Parade of Lights is coming this weekend. How do you watch the show?

The 39th-annual Boat Parade of Lights will float around Dana Point Harbor over the next two weekends.

At 7:30 p.m., you can view the free parade from the water's edge on Fridays and Saturdays from Dec. 6-Dec. 14.

Boaters from around the county will decorate their boats and try to snag top prizes for awards like Best Use of Lights, Most Colorful and Best Powerboat.

This year's theme is "Here We Come A’Caroling."

Dana Wharf Sportfishing will offer boat rides. The boat is located at Dana Wharf docks, 34675 Golden Lantern, Dana Point. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children.

Kids can participate in the judging of the Dana Wharf Kids Cup Trophy.

Some like to watch the parade from dry land, others like to see it from a boat. Others like to reserve a spot at a waterside restaurant.

How do you plan to watch this year's parade? Tell us in the comments below.
