Laurence Wahl, D.V.M., Laguna Grove Veterinary Hospital, Neighbor

Laurence Wahl, D.V.M., is a native  of Southern California. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating Suma Cum-Laude, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis, also graduating Suma Cum-Laude. Post doctural intern training in small animal medicine and surgery was completed at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Wahl worked in several zoological animal parks, several private practices and emergency animal hospitals prior to starting <strong>Laguna Grove Veterinary Hospital</strong> in 1987. He is also currently a part owner of Animal Urgent Care of South Orange County and part owner of the Turks and Caicos Veterinary Hospital in the British West Indies.  He is an active member in the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

When not working at the hospital he is busy with his three children, coaching Little League, breeding exotic parrots and bromeliads and working with his salt water aquarium. Dr. Wahl is the past chairman of the education committee and board of director for the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce. He is an avid scuba diver, golfer and musician, playing the tenor steel pan (drum).
