Bulky Item Trash Day, Networking Breakfast and Family Tree Sleuthing

Correction: The Laguna Niguel City Council will hear staff’s report on economic development on Tuesday, October 15. The Sheriff’s Department and the City of Laguna Niguel will host a drug awareness summit on Wednesday, October 16.

Here is a look ahead to events and happenings in Laguna Niguel-Dana Point and Orange County for Monday, Oct. 14. 

  1. The City of Dana Point will be teaming up with CR&R to host a Bulky Item Drop-Off Day event on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Dana Hills High School and Palisades Elementary School.

Bulky items such as large appliances, furniture, cardboard, tires, green waste, old bbq grills and other large items will be accepted for free by the City's waste hauler CR&R.  CR&R will also collect fluorescent light tubes.

  • The Laguna Niguel City Council will hear staff's report on economic development Tuesday at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 30111 Crown Valley Parkway.
  • The Sheriff's Department and the City of Laguna Niguel will host a drug summit Wednesday night from 6-8. Topics will include drug trends and drug abuse treatment. For more information call: (949) 362-4300

  • The Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce hosts its networking breakfast Friday morning from 7:15-9 at El Niguel Country Clubhouse, 23700 Clubhouse Drive. Members are $16, potential members are $21. RSVP by Wednesday by calling (949) 363-0136.
