Laguna Niguel Military Support Committee Hosts Its Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Donated toys will be given to the children of the marines and sailors at two large holiday parties also sponsored by the city. Toys are being accepted at Walmart in Laguna Niguel.

Come help support our adopted marines and sailors!

The city of Laguna Niguel is sponsoring its annual toy drive in support of its adopted marines and sailors from the First Battalion, Fourth Marine Regiment out of Camp Pendelton and the from San Diego. 

These toys will be given to the children of the marines and sailors at two large holiday parties also sponsored by the city. The parties include door prizes and giveaways, lots of food and fun for the kids plus an extra special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus themselves!

The toy collection drives are Tuesday, Nov. 29, and Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at in Laguna Niguel. 

To donate, you can simply buy a new toy and drop it off out front as you leave. 

“Both the USS McClusky and the First Battalion, Fourth Marine Regiment are deploying shortly so our holiday parties are also going away parties and we want to make them extra special this year. The city is always very supportive of us and we hope everybody takes a minute to stop by and donate a little something,”  said Rich Encinas, a member of the 

Collection boxes are also available at City Hall, 30111 Crown Valley Pkwy., and donations can be dropped off any week day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Dec. 9. Monetary donations are also accepted and checks should be made payable to the Laguna Niguel Military Support Foundation.
