Bring on The Dana Point Boat Show

The 12th annual event starts Thursday and runs through Sunday down at the harbor.

It only happens once a year, but it's worth the wait as many will attest.

The annual Dana Point Boat Show heads into town on runs Thursday through Sunday at the harbor:

Thursday: May 31, Noon to 7 p.m.
Friday: June 1, Noon to 7 p.m.
Saturday: June 2, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday: June 3, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is the type of show where you can step aboard luxury yachts, learn about everything from lifejackets and water safety to buying a boat if something hits your fancy.

Dana Point is right off the I-5 freeway, and centrally located between Los Angeles and San Diego.

Free Parking supplemented by Boat Show Shuttle Service. The Shuttle stops at the Doheny Beach parking, and Dana West Marina parking areas every 10 minutes, and drop you off at the show. Return service to parking lots also available.

General Admission Adult:   $12

Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
