I loath to correct CNS, but Los Alamitos is home base for the US Women's Water Polo. I believe that the US Men's water polo training base is at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. From their 2012 Olympic Media Guide: TRAINING FACILITY California Lutheran University 60 West Olsen Road Thousand Oaks, CA 91360

Sorry, I was ill last night and not surfing so I missed making the correction on the Brazil story. Still, nice to see the boys following our girls in their winning ways! :-)

Update: They are training in Los Alamitos now. According to the very helpful City News Editor Steven Herbert: Greg Mescall, the associate director of communications for USA Water Polo said it was proper to refer to U.S. men's water polo team as Los Alamitos based. Since Jovan Vavic became interim coach, the team has trained at the USA Water Polo National Training Center in Los Alamitos, CA and up at USC in Los Angeles, CA along with UC Irvine, Mescall said. The team previously trained at Cal Lutheran.
