No. 2-ranked Dolphins stumble in home match against No. 4 Peninsula from Palos Verdes, losing, 13-5.

The Dan Hills girls tennis team, ranked No. 2 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 coaches' poll, lost to No. 4 Peninsula of Palos Verdes, 13-5, in a nonleague match Tuesday afternoon at the Laguna Niguel Racquet Club.

The Dolphins (1-1) play at San Marino, ranked No. 1 in Division 2, today (Wednesday) before opening South Coast League play Sept. 27 at San Clemente.
