NFL Flag South Orange County Announces Champions

The 7-8 Patriots and the 9-11 Eagles have won the NFL Flag South Orange County flag football championship held Nov. 10. Many players are from Laguna Niguel.

Congratulations to the 7-8 Patriots and the 9-11 Eagles for winning the NFL Flag South Orange County flag football championship held Saturday, Nov. 10 at Capistrano Valley Christian School.

The Patriots team includes seven Laguna Niguel residents: Owen Armstrong, Aidan Bowles, Brock Beeson, Curtis Chasman, Brady Disbro, Griffin Haugh, Carter Mosher plus Max Holtzclaw from Laguna Beach and Tommy Nettleton from Mission Viejo.  The team was coached by Don Disbro and Brady Bowles. 

The winning Eagles team includes five San Clemente players: MVP Nico Vorzimer, Matthew Kovacs, Kevin Kohl, Sean Matzinger and Cole McCutcheon. Additional winners include Ian Asencio and Chris Hampson from Laguna Niguel, John McPherson and Michael Nelson from Dana Point, Aiden Svenson from Laguna Beach,  and Jack Vraneza of San Juan Capistrano. Volunteer Coaches Rich Matzinger and Karl Kohl lead the team to a 19-13 victory over the Packers.

I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.
