It’s less than five hours away, but by the time you read this article the outcome will have already been determined. The first round CIF game against Alta Loma is today.
I’m usually not the type of person who gets nervous for games, hunched over the toilet throwing up from the butterflies. I’m the type who puts in the headphones and walks with a purpose.
Game day on a school day always becomes one long daydream. You always sit in class going over the plays in your head and diverting through countless 6 on 5 scenarios and 1 on nobody’s. The classes are drawn out, and your mind runs rapid till your brain goes numb.
Today is one of those days, and two days from now when you read this Dana Hills will hopefully be in the quarterfinals fighting for a spot in the winner’s bracket.
