Update: Laguna Niguel School Helps Philippines Typhoon Victims

Crown Valley Elementary and a local business pitch in with donations for Philippines typhoon victims.

Following the devastating Phillipines typhoon that left over 2 million people in need of food, Crown Valley Elementary School is stepping in to help.

Donation bins will be placed outside the school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Shipping company LBC has offered to ship these items for free on Saturday.

Here's a list of needed items:

New/Used Items Needed 

  • Blankets
  • Clothes
  • Shoes
  • Socks
  • Towels
  • Light Jackets

  • Toiletries (soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc)
  • canned food (must be pop-top opening cans, many families do not have can openers)

Chick Fil A

In addition, the Chick Fil A at the Center at Rancho Niguel, 28201 Crown Valley Parkway, will donate 20 percent of sales Tuesday afternoon when customers mention the Philippines. Their phone number is 949-448-8447.
