Real Estate Wrap Up: Location, Location, Location and Interest Rates

Location: Where are the grandkids? Yes, that is the first one. Any holiday is more fun with the grandkids! Oh yes, the kids can come too – I guess. Let’s face it. Things are way more fun when the room is full of little people under seven.

Location: Your place or ours? Actually we like to enjoy any holiday at Aunt    Betsy’s. Betsy lives on ¾ of an acre in what used to be a rural area buried in orange groves.The kids and now the grandkids love to walk down the street and feed the horses, pet the sheep, and make fresh orange juice. Ask city slickers what could be more exciting. As long as the right people are there who cares.

Location: Cul-de-sac and big back yard with dogs. When you have kids there is nothing like a cul-de-sac where you can safely have a stick ball game, ride your scooter, or hang out and barbeque. Big backyards are great, too. The Labrador retriever and the boxer dogs are a hit with the grandkids.

Seriously, make sure that you make some memories and forget about business for a while. 

However, after the holiday season, don’t forget these super low interest rates won’t be with us forever. You will be kicking yourself a year from now if you don’t buy that investment or move up to the home that better fits your family while the rates are at 40-year lows.
