It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This!

Welcome to the wonderful adventures of real estate in Laguna Niguel.

Laguna Niguel is a wonderful place to live and own real estate. Whatever the price and sales climate may be for housing today, remember there are only a few spots in the world with a Mediterranean climate, and we are privileged to live in one. People will always want to live where we live!

When I have out-of-town buying clients who are interested in Laguna Niguel I often take them up to Niguel Summit and show them the panoramic views from Flying Cloud Drive. If you want to see them for yourself, go to this link: http://youtu.be/qEYztnzLrRc.

Roughly one-third of the land in Laguna Niguel is set aside for parks and greenbelts – did you know that? That’s a lot of land, and shows this city’s commitment to quality of life. And, of course, there are no straight streets! Today there are 363 homes of all types on the market. There are 201 detached homes ranging from $450,000 to $5.5 million. Forty one are “distressed” properties (so called “short sales,” and bank-owned properties). There are 100 properties in “backup” or “pending sale” status, of which 70 are “distressed.”

 What do all these numbers mean? While no one knows for sure (just look at the abysmal track record of most real estate pundits out there), I’ve been in this business a long time, and I can tell you my opinion. More to come.
