Two Residents Honored For Volunteer Services to City
John Morton was honored with 8,946 volunteer hours and Barbara Perrella was honored for her 7,118 volunteer hours of serving Laguna Niguel Polices Services.

Two of the Laguna Niguel Police Auxilary Citizens' Team volunteer members, John Morton and Barbara Perrella were recently honored for their community work through the Laguna Niguel Polices Services.
Morton was honored for his 8,946 volunteer hours and was Perrella honored for her 7,118 volunteer hours at Tuesday's City Council meeting.

In addition to Morton and Perrella, 40-plus PACT members were given certificates by Mayor Paul Glaab and the City Council members for their individual hours.
Morton and Perrella also accepted a plaque for the entire PACT Team members honoring the members for reaching a total of 100,000 volunteer hours.

Lt. Andy Ferguson, Laguna Niguel Chief of Police Services stated that those hours represent about 50 years of regular work hours and are a tremendous savings to the city (even if measured by minimum wage rates).
