19 Cases of Romaine Lettuce Recalled

Pacific International Marketing is recalling bulk Romaine lettuce sold at Vons and Pavilions stores in California and Nevada because of possible Salmonella contamination.

Pacific International Marketing is recalling 19 cases of bulk Romaine Lettuce sold at and Pavilions stores in California and Nevada because of possible Salmonella contamination, according to a press release issued by the FDA.

Product details:

  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Sold in bulk produce bins
  • Sold from July 2, 2012 to July 4, 2012
  • Lettuce heads are banded with a red twist tie maked “Safeway”
  • Distributed in Pacific International Marketing RPCs
  • 15 heads of romaine lettuce in each RPC
  • Code 12EASROM182 on the RPC
  • No carton Romaine or bagged Romaine products are affected by this recall
