Pre-Trial Conference for Adam Hall Postponed

A preliminary hearing date of Nov. 17 has been set for Adam Harrison Hall's murder trial. Hall's Feb. 13 car accident took the life of resident Mara Steves.

The prosecution and defense in the the murder trial of met this morning for a pre-trial conference at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana. 

As both parties prepared to present the evidence for Hall's a preliminary hearing date of Nov. 17 was scheduled and the pre-trial itself was postponed to Oct. 26. Hall was present at the hearing.

According to Orange County District Attorney spokesperson Farrah Emami, the purpose of the pre-trial hearing is to give the defense and prosecution the opportunity to exchange information and set future court dates.

Hall is accused of being under the influence of several drugs during the time of the accident, and has had two prior DUI convictions. His bail is still set at $5 million.
