Barack Obama 'Unimpressed' Photo with Laguna Niguel Native Gymnast Goes Viral

According to a local blog, President Obama kidded about McKayla Maroney's "not impressed" look while greeting her and members of the 2012 U.S. Olympic gymnastics teams in the Oval Office.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- Southern California Public Radio Blog reports a photo of Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney and President Barack Obama went viral Saturday.

"The photo of her doing her now-famous "McKayla Maroney is not impressed" face went viral Saturday after the White House posted it on Twitter. The two took the picture Thursday when Maroney and her Fierce Five teammates visited the White House," the blog reports.

The photo can also be seen here at the White House Twitter feed. The photo was snapped by AP photographer Pete Souza / The White House on Nov. 15.

"He was the one who brought it up," Maroney, a Laguna Niguel native, told The Associated Press. "We were about to leave and he said, 'I want to talk to you one second about the face.' He said, 'I pretty much do that face at least once a day,'" says the blog.

Maroney was photographed making the half scowl with her nose scrunched up while she was on the medals podium after winning silver on vault at the London Olympics.

I hit enter in the comment and it posted - I wasn't done! Why would it post if you don't clickRead More "post comment"?! I read one story and the scrunched up left placement gave me a headache. The ad column on the right is way too big - too wide. If they made that smaller, swapped the "board" column and the news (so the news was in the middle), I think it would be easier to read.

With the ad block on the right and the boards info in the middle, it feels like the news part isRead More scrunched too far to the left.
