It's All in the Details This Week at the New City Hall

City employees are expected to move into their new digs at the corner of Alicia and Crown Valley parkways the week of Aug. 26. But there's still a little work to do at the site.

There are just a few weeks before the staff starts setting up shop in the . The move-in is scheduled for the week of Aug. 26.

These are some of the construction activities anticipated for the week of Aug. 1-5.

  • Install window shades in council chambers, community room and lobby areas.
  • Install appliances in community room and break room areas.
  • Continue installation of system furniture in office areas.
  • Continue installation of exterior and interior signs.
  • Start up fountain.

There will be a grand-opening celebration at the new City Hall on Oct. 15, according to City Manager Tim Casey.
