Increase in Parking Fines Up for Debate at Tonight's City Council Meeting

The council will also be asked to approve a response to a grand jury report criticizing the city's website.

The City Council will discuss the possibility of stiffer penalties for parking violations at tonight's City Council meeting.

The council will also be asked to approve the proposed city response to an Orange County Grand Jury report that gave Laguna Niguel below-average ratings for the informational content of the city website and only average ratings for clarity and accessibility.

The council will:

  • Discuss whether to install an event display system in the lobby of the new City Hall.
  • Approve Toal Engineering as the consultant for the Salt Creek Trail project.
  • Commending Paul Curtis Lee Bockstedt III, Mason Michael Lutz and Evan Jake Richardson for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

The City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the  27841 La Paz Rd.
