Crime in Laguna Niguel Down
According to the city's report card recently issued, crime stats are better than they have been in years.
Consider this bit of Laguna Niguel food for thought: Crime is down in the city.
According to the city's 2012 community report card, in 2010, the local crime rate decreased by three percent from the previous year. The city’s overall crime rate has decreased by 19 percent over the past fie years. The years 2008 and 2010 reflected the lowest crime rates in the city’s history. Total crimes in 2006 were 106 and 101 in 2010, according to the report.
