Council To Award Contract For Crown Valley Widening Phase II To Oritz Enterprises

Oritz Enzerprizes will be receiving a cash contract in the amount of $2,014,656 for its work on the Crown Valley Widening Phase II project at City Council meeting Tuesday.

As the city approves the agreement with for relocation of the sewer lines for the construction of the Crown Valley widening project, Oritz Enterprizes will continue its work into Phase II of the construction.

The City Council will also be:

  • Receiving the notice of completion for the .
  • Receiving the notice of completion for the slope repair project.
  • Awarding the contract for the citywide roadway slurry seal program to Roy Allan Slurry Seal, Inc. for the amount of $762,368.81.
  • Disposing of surplus and obsolete property by recommending donation to local non-profit organizations and schools as well as recycling unusable or broken items.
  • Approving the request to use the community room as a polling place for the June 5 election.
  • Awarding the contract for the July 4 fireworks display to Fireworks America.
  • Opening a public hearing to receive testimony for the Community Development Block Grant Action Plan.
  • Approving the proposed reorganization of the Public Works Department.
  • Discussing city and community goals for next year’s city budget, work program and capital improvement plan.

The City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Council Chambers at , 30111 Crown Valley Pkwy.
