City Accepting Applications for Community Services and Cultural Arts Grants

Last year, grant awards ranged from $750 to $4,500, according to the city website.

The Laguna Niguel City Council has provided $35,125 for Community Services and Cultural Arts grants in the City’s Fiscal Year 2012-13 budget.

These funds have been allocated by the City Council in recognition of the importance of the many human services organizations and cultural programs within the community. Last year, grant awards ranged from $750 to $4,500, according to the city.

All requests for funds will be considered and reviewed by a City Council subcommittee, which will make recommendations to the full City Council. Grants are available for non-profit organizations only. These organizations must provide services in Laguna Niguel for Laguna Niguel residents and/or provide services for students attending schools that serve Laguna Niguel residents.

Grant applications must be received at Laguna Niguel City Hall no later than Friday, August 10, 2012 at 5 p.m. to be considered for funding.
